This website is in the process of being overhauled and modernized. Please excuse any breakage or inconsistencies while I work on this upgrade. This website has not been enhanced in a long time, so this will (hopefully!) be a welcome change when it is finally complete.
My name is Peter Chapin, and this is my page for waterfall enthusiasts. I pursue waterfalls as a hobby and as an excuse to get outside and into the woods. It's also an opportunity for me to practice with photography and website design. Enjoy the site; I hope you find it interesting and useful.
Note: If you are looking for Greg Parson's site supporting the book New England Waterfalls, please go to NewEnglandWaterfalls.com. It is an excellent site with lots of information about the same falls I cover here.

Note: This is a work in progress! Waterfall Gallery. I am thinking about putting together some kind page or pages that will showcase the waterfalls visually. Watch this space for future developments. In the meantime, feel free to browse an index of my photographs.
Waterfall Trips. This document describes some nice waterfall day trips that may be of interest to those of you who want to see the falls for yourself but aren't sure where to begin. The trips are presented by region to make it easier to match up a trip with your location.

Some of the pictures that I'm using on this site were sent to me by other people and are being used here with permission. I've put all those pictures in their own directory to make it clear which ones are not mine.
